Building Skills for Greater Independence

At Next Level ABA, we believe meaningful progress includes helping individuals develop practical skills that can support greater independence in everyday life.

Our supported-living approach focuses on teaching functional skills in a way that is individualized to the person’s abilities, needs, interests, and goals.

What Is Supported Living?

Supported living services are designed to help individuals develop and maintain skills that allow them to participate more independently in daily activities.

Depending on the individual’s needs and treatment goals, areas of support may include:

  • Personal hygiene and self-care
  • Dressing and grooming
  • Meal preparation
  • Household routines
  • Cleaning and organization
  • Communication
  • Following schedules
  • Safety awareness
  • Community participation
  • Social skills
  • Decision-making
  • Functional daily-living skills
  • Increasing independence with routines

Promoting Independence

Our goal is not to do things for an individual when we can help them learn how to do things for themselves.

Our team uses individualized teaching strategies to break skills into manageable steps, provide appropriate support, and gradually encourage greater independence.

We celebrate progress at every stage.

A small step toward independence can represent a major accomplishment for a child or individual and their family.

Individualized Support

Every person has different strengths and challenges. That’s why our approach is personalized.

We work with families and caregivers to understand the individual’s current abilities and identify meaningful goals that can improve everyday functioning.

Progress is monitored so that support can be adjusted as skills develop.

Supporting the Whole Person

Independence is about more than completing tasks.

It’s also about communication, confidence, choice, participation, and having the opportunity to be involved in everyday life.

At Next Level ABA, we strive to help individuals develop practical skills that can carry over into their homes, communities, and daily routines.

Our goal is to help each individual move toward greater independence—at their own pace and at their own level.
